Vitamin E is the collective name for a set of eight related tocopherols and tocotrienols, which are fat-soluble vitamins with antioxidant properties. It is used for repairing skin, reducing smoking lung damage and helping with drug therapies for those undergoing cancer treatment. People who are missing Vitamin E in their body may experience muscle weakness, anemia, increased infections and even fibrocystic breast disease. High levels of Vitamin E can be found in the following foods: almonds, asparagus, avocado, nuts, peanuts, olives, red palm oil, seeds, spinach, vegetable oils- canola, corn, sunflower, soybean, cottonseed and wheat germ.
